ADMISSIONS PROCESS OVERVIEW
Country Day World School is a community of learners that nurtures academic excellence, personal responsibility, and individual talents. As families begin the admissions process, they can obtain a sense of our school’s culture through a campus visit, along with the personal attention that is available from our admissions team.
All applicants for admission to Country Day World School are considered without regard to race, gender, age, or national origin.
OUR ADMISSIONS PROCESS
STEP
1
Complete an initial Inquiry Form. Our admissions team will be in touch to answer any questions and schedule an on-campus Admissions Meeting and tour.

Submit an application. Once an application has been submitted, applicants have access to an online portal displaying a checklist of documentation required for enrollments. Access to the online application and portal is granted after the initial inquiry is completed.

Schedule a class visit. Once an application has been submitted, a member of the CDWS admissions team will personally reach out to schedule a class visit. Depending on the age of the student, class visits range from half an hour to full days. Also depending on the grade level, an assessment may be done during the class visit.

Kindergarten: 2.5 hour class visit with assessment

Once an applicant has completed the class visit and uploaded all required documentation, an admission decision is made collaboratively by our Admissions Committee.
INDEPENDENT LEARNING THROUGH EXPLORATION
Country Day World School is dedicated to providing a world-class educational experience at an affordable price. Tuition is thoughtfully determined by balancing the financial needs of our community with the quality of education we provide. CDWS participates in most of the Florida scholarship programs including Family Empowerment, Gardiner and Hope. Additionally, as a proprietary school, there will never be any solicitations or expectations for families to make donations or contribute to capital campaigns.
